Coupon Classes...

So several people, whether it be through comments on this site or on Facebook, have asked about Coupon Classes. They want to know how they can get the most out of their buck just like everyone else! Well, I am going to start 'Couponing: 101 at Home' classes within the next month. Here's the deal:

- You sign up to host a class
- Invite at least 5 of your friends/family/coworkers/neighbors to attend, $5/person

The cost for you? $0! All you have to do is provide refreshments for your guests. Those attending will pay $5 but will walk away with the knowledge of how to save twice that on their next grocery bill!

There will be door prizes (coupon giveaways) as well as a coupon swap for those interested!

If you are interested in hosting a class (and this does not have to be in your home...if you and your coworkers would like to hold a class at the office, or at church, or any building, that will be fine too!), then contact me (Amanda) at chickswithcents@gmail.com today!! For now, I will only be able to conduct classes in the Birmingham and Montgomery areas. Slots are already beginning to be filled, so don't wait!

Free Coupon Class!

Chicks with "Cents" co-blogger Amanda is conducting a FREE Coupon Class (Couponing 101) Saturday, June 6, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Calera Library. The class should last approximately an hour. While the class is free of charge, we do ask that if you are able to, please bring a book (new or used) to donate to the library and/or a non-perishable food donation (ie. canned or boxed)to be donated to a local food bank.

What will we discuss in this class? We will discuss how to find, use and stack coupons and other ways to get the best possible savings. Our goal is to not just trim your grocery bill, but to at LEAST cut it in half! Oh, and before I forget to mention it, there will be 3 giveaways of $100 worth of coupons at this class. Who couldn't use that, right?!

If you aren't able to attend this class, don't worry! There will be another class Thursday, June 11, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Columbiana Library. Same "rules" apply and there will be 3 giveaways at this class as well.
