Here is the Publix deal that I got 5/5/09...
Total Before Sales & Coupons: $153.31
Total After Sales & Coupons: $76.71
Total Savings: $76.60
That's a total savings of 49.9% (this total does not include tax). Our of this, I got 6 bags of croutons for free (I think I was most excited about that!!) The other big item was Special K - I had a coupon for $1.50 off of any Kellogg's cereal, and they were BOGO this week, so I got them for .50/box...what a deal!! There were a few staple items that I did not have a coupon for, but we need them. I try not to let that happen, but sometimes you can't help it. This shopping trip definitely helped in stocking our pantry!
