You can get the Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Publix Sunday Ad every week. Some stores do not require this coupon, but many have changed and do require it now, so check with your store to find their policy.
I was wondering if you or any of your readers know if you can buy copies of the Sunday issue of the B'ham News a day or two later for a big discount. I know you can get them at the Dollar Tree on Sunday for a dollar, but I was reading a blog and the writer stated that she waits until Tuesday and buys copies of her local Sunday paper for 38 cents a copy. Just curious- if this is a possibility on good coupon weeks it would be a great way to score some extra coupons.
ReplyDeleteI know that any copies of the Sunday paper that aren't sold are taken back by the B'ham news, I think by Tuesday. I'm not sure how it would work w/ selling at a discount, I guess it could be worth checking into. However, I do know that when the papers must be returned, the coupon inserts DO NOT. So if you work it you might not even have to buy more papers...
